Adnan Yahya عدنان يحيى

Born in Irbid in 1960, graduated from the Institute of Fine arts – Amman in 1979, then we on to graduate from Amman Teachers’ Institute in 1980. Yahya is currently working as a teacher, and is a member of the Jordanian Fine Arts Association and the Young Artist Group. He has also published and translated several articles on art criticism in local and Arabic newspapers and magazines.

Ibrahim Abu Rub إبراهيم أبو الرب

• ولد الفنان إبراهيم أبو الرب في (يالو) القدس عام 1949م، وخرج منها بعد نكبة عام 1967م إلى الأردن، ثم انطلق إلى مصر وحصل على بكالوريوس الفنون الجميلة ودبلوم الدراسات التربوية عام 1976م، ودرجة الماجستير في الفنون الجميلة عام 1982م: (فن التصوير المعاصر في الأردن)، والدكتوراه عام 1987م: (الفن الإسلامي وأثره على التجريد العربي المعاصر)، وجميعها من كلية الفنون الجميلة بالقاهرة، جامعة حلوان.

• أقام عشرات المعارض الفنية الخاصة والمشتركة والجماعية والعامة.

• حصل على جائزة الدولة التقديرية في الفنون من الأردن عام 1995م.

• عضو في العديد من الجمعيات والمراكز والمؤسسات الفنية والثقافية والبيئية.

• أسس جماعة (الفنانين الأردنيين الشباب)

Dr. Ibrahim  Abu Rub

Born 1949 in the village of Yalo – Jerusalem , Palestine .

Ph. D. degree in Fine Arts from the school of Fine Arts 1987 ,Cairo ,Egypt

Assistant Professor, Department  of Arts Education , Qatar University

Teaching experience of various art courses for more than 20 years in a number of Arab universities.

Member in a large of Artistic , educational and envirommental committees , conferences and festivals

Many personal exhibitions in the Arab world .

Participated in a large number of internatinal exhibitions

Mary Tuma ماري توما

Born in California in 1961, Mary Tuma began sewing and crocheting with her mother at an early age. Her love of these processes led her to begin her formal study of art as an apprentice at Beautiful Arts Hall in Kerdassa, Egypt, where she learned to weave tapestries. Later, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Costume and Textile Design from the University of California at Davis, and then went on to study women’s fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. In 1994, she earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona, where she studied with Professor Gayle Wimmer. In 1997, she began teaching art at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, where she now serves as an Associate Professor and the head of the Fibers Program.

Tuma has shown her work in various venues in the United States, including the Crocker Art Museum, the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art, The Bridge in New York City, the Station Museum in Houston and the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, MI. Outside of the US, she has shown work at Al Wasiti and Al Hoash in Jerusalem, the International Center of Bethlehem, Birzeit University Museum, Birzeit. West Bank, Kid Aileck Hall, Tokyo, The Maruki Gallery in Hiroshima, among others.
